Dr. Vijay Parveen: Singer & Writer

Art is an inborn & intrinsic quality. It can not be acquired by payment. The God has gifted Dr. Vijay Parveen the qualities of both singing & writing. He is well known one of the best Gazal Singers of the area. His first song was based on 1965 Indo-Pak war which shot him to fame.

He has always been associated with Gyani Amar Singh, Master Krishan Shant- city based lyricists and musicians. He has the credit to release four cassettes- “Pyar Kinni Pyari Cheej Hai, “Do Shameele Nain”, “Sajana Da Challa”, “Dariya Dil” etc. He is post graduate both in vocal and instrumental music with Ph. D apart from B.E.H.M.S. He had participated in many TV and Radio Programmes.

He is the lover of Gulam Ali, Mehndi Hasrat & Nusrat etc. He had penned down four books, three parts of a book titled “Sanjeet Sarang” and “Amavas se Poonam Tak” (Hindi). Presently, he is a lecturer and Head of Music Department at DAV College, Jalalabad. His articles generally found place in Partap Kesri, a daily from Sri Ganga Nagar (Rajasthan)
